Cryptowatch Address Importer

This tool allows you to quickly add addresses into your android Cryptowatch App from your computer. Then you can scan the QR code from your computer monitor with your phone.  Currently not working with the Barcode scanner app, but QR Droid works, will fix soon.

Do you think you can add this coin to your Cryptowatch app? http://nyancha.in/chain/Nyancoin

Still relatively new so no rush or anything I guess. Wanted to say great work on the app too!

Hey. Love the program and this QR importer is awesome! Makes adding accounts so much easier. Any chance that you may add 42 coins? Thanks for all your work!

They should be in if you update the App. Fedora is TIPS in the list and Earthcoin is EAC, let me know if you have issues.

For some reason I cannot get my Doge and BTC balances to sync from cryptsy. Every other coin I have there syncs just fine.

This is a problem with Cryptsy, the balances they say you have on cryptsy aren’t the actual balances for the public keys they assign to you. I have talked to support with them about this, and they say that I can’t rely on official blockchains for balances for them…

Well..that’s unfortunate. I really like your app, but the majority of my coins are doge and BTC and my balance is showing a big fat 0. Not so impressive when trying to showoff my portfolio to potential future shibes.

Yea, I can’t do anything about it unfortunately, those are receive only addresses as far as Crypsty is concerned.

I also would not recommend keeping all your coins online in an exchange, and you are better off having them in a local wallet that is backed up and encrypted rather than leaving them there. Some exchanges have been known to get hacked and lose many people’s coins.

I could, but I don’t have a blockchain API to access for reddcoin (A Website where I can easily get the information). The blockchain on the reddcoin website doesn’t have any easy way to programmatically read the information.

What address ? Maybe a little tutorial on how to find your address because I am new and have no clue which address to add..

This would be the public address listed in your dogecoin or other cryptocurrency client. This is the one you give people to send you coins.
